Pasta200 g spaghetti
Saltfor the water
Butter2 tbsp
Garlic4 cloves, sliced
Gochujang2 tbsp
Soy sauce1 tsp
Honey1 tsp
Parmesan2 tbsp, grated
Spring onion (green onion, scallion)1 stalk, sliced
Sesame seeds1 tsp

Method

  1. 1Cook the spaghetti in salted water until just al dente; save a cup of pasta water.
  2. 2Melt butter, fry garlic gently until pale gold.
  3. 3Stir in gochujang, soy and honey with a splash of pasta water.
  4. 4Toss in the pasta and parmesan, adding water until silky. Top with spring onion and sesame.
Serve it like this
