Ingredients

Gin50 ml gin
Mint leaves10 leaves plus a sprig
Lemon juice20 ml fresh lime juice
Cumin powder (ground cumin)½ tsp roasted cumin powder
Black salt¼ tsp
Dry mango powdera pinch
Sugar syrup (simple syrup)15 ml sugar syrup
Soda water (club soda)120 ml soda water
Boondia few salted boondi, to float
Ice cubesto fill the glass

Method

4 steps
  1. 1Muddle the mint gently with the lime juice, syrup, cumin, black salt and amchur in a tall glass.
  2. 2Add ice and the gin and stir well.
  3. 3Top with soda and stir once.
  4. 4Float a few boondi and tuck in the mint sprig.
Serve it like this

Serve tall over ice with a mint sprig and boondi floating on top. Chaat, pakoras or kebabs alongside, plus water.
