Ingredients

4 servings
Fish500 g ladyfish (kane), pomfret or seer, cleaned
Kashmiri chilli powder1 tbsp
Red chilli powder (indian red chili powder)1 tsp
Turmeric (ground turmeric)½ tsp
Ginger garlic paste1 tbsp
Lemon juice1 tbsp
Rava (semolina)⅓ cup
Rice flour2 tbsp
Coconut oil3 tbsp
Saltto taste

Method

3 steps
  1. 1Marinate fish with both chilli powders, turmeric, ginger garlic paste, lemon and salt for 20 minutes.
  2. 2Mix rava and rice flour. Press each piece into it.
  3. 3Shallow fry in hot coconut oil on medium, 3 to 4 minutes per side.
Serve it like this

Drain on paper for a minute, pile onto a plate and serve hot with chutney on the side.
