Ingredients

4 servings
Potato3 to 4 medium
Mustard oil1 tbsp, raw
Onion1 small, finely chopped
Green chilli2, finely chopped
Coriander leaves (cilantro)a small handful, chopped
Saltto taste

Method

4 steps
  1. 1Pressure cook the potatoes for 3 whistles and let the pressure release naturally. Or boil until soft.
  2. 2Peel and mash the potatoes with the salt while still warm.
  3. 3Add the raw mustard oil, onion, green chilli and coriander and mix with your hands.
  4. 4Taste, adjust salt and serve with hot rice and dal.
Serve it like this

Serve hot on a plate, with a few fresh coriander leaves on top.
