Ingredients

4 servings
Chicken, curry cut (bone in chicken, small pieces)1 small whole chicken, skin removed
Water10 cups
Onion1, halved
Garlic10 cloves
Gingera thumb, sliced
Spring onion (green onion, scallion)4 stalks, half chopped
Salt1½ tsp, to serve
Black pepperto serve
Cooked rice4 bowls

Method

4 steps
  1. 1Rinse the chicken and simmer with onion, garlic, ginger and spring onion whites for 60 minutes, skimming.
  2. 2Lift out the chicken, cool and tear the meat into strips.
  3. 3Strain the broth and return the meat.
  4. 4Serve with rice, and let everyone season with salt, pepper and chopped spring onion.
Serve it like this

Serve in a deep bowl with chicken strips and chopped spring onion; rice on the side, salt and pepper on the table, kkakdugi alongside.
