Ingredients

Garlic5 cloves
Coriander leaves (cilantro)roots and leaves
White pepper½ tsp
Minced pork (pork mince, ground pork)200 g
Soy sauce1 tbsp
Cooking oil (vegetable oil)2 tsp, for garlic oil
Chicken stock (chicken broth)5 cups
Napa cabbage (wombok, chinese leaf)chunks
Carrotsliced
Sweet potato glass noodles (glass noodles, cellophane noodles)soaked
Silken tofuegg tofu or silken tofu, sliced
Fish sauce1½ tbsp
Spring onion (green onion, scallion)sliced

Method

5 steps
  1. 1Pound the garlic, coriander roots and pepper. Mix half into the pork with the soy and roll into small balls.
  2. 2Fry the rest of the garlic in the oil until golden.
  3. 3Bring the stock to a simmer, drop in the pork balls and cook 4 minutes.
  4. 4Add the cabbage and carrot for 3 minutes, then the noodles and tofu for 2 minutes. Season with fish sauce.
  5. 5Serve with garlic oil, coriander and spring onion on top.
Serve it like this
