Ingredients

2 servings
Water300 ml water
Tea leaves (black tea leaves)1 tsp green tea
Saffrona pinch
Whole spices1 small cinnamon stick, 2 green cardamom pods
Almonds6 almonds, slivered
Honey1 tbsp honey
Whisky (whiskey, scotch whisky)60 ml whisky or brandy

Method

4 steps
  1. 1Simmer the water with cinnamon, cardamom and saffron for 5 minutes.
  2. 2Turn off the heat, add the green tea and steep for 2 minutes, then strain.
  3. 3Stir in the honey and divide between two cups with the whisky.
  4. 4Top with almond slivers.
Serve it like this

Serve hot in small glass cups or traditional kahwa cups with almond slivers on top. Kulcha or dry fruits alongside.
