Ingredients

Pasta340 g linguine
Tomato350 g cherry tomatoes, halved
Onion1, thinly sliced
Garlic4 cloves, sliced
Basil leavesa big handful
Dried red chillia pinch of flakes
Olive oil2 tbsp
Water4½ cups
Parmesanto serve
Salt2 tsp

Method

4 steps
  1. 1Put pasta, tomatoes, onion, garlic, half the basil, chilli, oil, salt and water in a wide pan.
  2. 2Bring to a boil and cook, stirring and turning with tongs often.
  3. 3Keep going until the pasta is al dente and the liquid has almost gone.
  4. 4Season, then top with remaining basil and parmesan.
Serve it like this
