Ingredients

Minced beef (beef mince, beef or buff keema)beef mince
Onion1, grated
Carrot1, grated
Breadcrumbs½ cup
Egg1
Worcestershire sauce2 tsp
Tomato ketchup (ketchup)1 tbsp tomato sauce
Dried mixed herbs (italian seasoning)1 tsp
Salt1 tsp
Black pepper½ tsp
Maida (all-purpose flour, plain flour)for dusting
Cooking oil (vegetable oil)2 tbsp

Method

3 steps
  1. 1Squeeze excess liquid from the grated onion and carrot.
  2. 2Mix everything except flour and oil with your hands and shape 8 patties.
  3. 3Dust lightly with flour and fry over medium heat 4 to 5 minutes a side until cooked through.
Serve it like this

Serve two rissoles per plate with mashed potato, peas and gravy, and tomato sauce on the side.
