Pumpkin1 small pumpkin, in chunks
Jaggery2 cones piloncillo or jaggery
Whole spices2 cinnamon sticks, 4 cloves
Orangepeel and juice of 1
Water2 cups

Method

3 steps
  1. 1Dissolve piloncillo in water with cinnamon, cloves and orange peel.
  2. 2Add pumpkin skin side down. Cover and simmer 1 1/2 hours, basting.
  3. 3Cool in the syrup.
Serve it like this
