Filo pastry (phyllo dough)1 pack, about 12 sheets
Spinach1 big bunch, chopped
Feta cheese200 g, crumbled
Onion1, finely chopped

Milk¾ cup
Curd (plain yogurt, natural yoghurt)½ cup thick yoghurt
Cooking oil (vegetable oil)⅓ cup
Black peppera pinch
Nigella seeds1 tsp

- 1Soften the onion in 1 tbsp oil, add the spinach and cook until wilted and dry. Cool and mix with feta and pepper.
- 2Whisk 2 eggs with the milk, yoghurt and remaining oil to make the sauce.
- 3Lay 2 filo sheets in an oiled tray, brush with sauce, repeat until a third of the sheets are used. Spread half the filling.
- 4Repeat with more filo, sauce, the rest of the filling, then finish with the last sheets and sauce.
- 5Cut into squares, brush with the last egg and scatter nigella and sesame. Rest 15 minutes, then bake at 190°C for 40 minutes.
