Ingredients

3 servings
Pasta300 g spaghetti
Sausages (snags, bangers)4, sliced
Onion1, sliced
Capsicum (green capsicum, green bell pepper)1 green, sliced
Button mushroomsliced
Butter1½ tbsp
Cooking oil (vegetable oil)2 tsp
Tomato ketchup (ketchup)½ cup
Worcestershire sauce2 tsp
Milk2 tbsp
Parmesangrated, to serve
Saltto taste
Black peppera pinch

Method

5 steps
  1. 1Boil the spaghetti a minute past al dente, drain and toss with a little oil.
  2. 2Fry the sausages, onion, capsicum and mushroom in butter until lightly browned.
  3. 3Add the ketchup and fry until it darkens slightly.
  4. 4Add the pasta, Worcestershire and milk and toss until coated. Season.
  5. 5Serve with parmesan.
Serve it like this

Pile on a warm oval plate or a sizzling iron plate on a bed of thin omelette, with parmesan and chilli flakes on the table.
