Ingredients

4 servings
Fish500 g sashimi grade tuna or firm white fish
Lemon juicejuice of 6 limes
Thick coconut milk200 ml coconut cream
Onion½, finely chopped
Tomato1, diced
Cucumber½, diced
Green chilli1, minced
Spring onion (green onion, scallion)2, sliced
Saltto taste

Method

4 steps
  1. 1Cut the fish into 1.5 cm cubes. Toss with lime and salt and chill for 15 to 20 minutes.
  2. 2Drain most of the lime juice.
  3. 3Fold in onion, tomato, cucumber, chilli and coconut cream.
  4. 4Chill 10 minutes and top with spring onion.
Serve it like this

Serve chilled in coconut shells or small bowls, with taro or breadfruit chips alongside.
