Ingredients

12 servings
Maida (all-purpose flour, plain flour)4 cups
Instant dry yeast2 tsp
Milk1 cup, lukewarm
Sugar1½ tbsp
Egg1 dough, 3 filling, 1 wash
Butter50 g dough, 30 g filling
Saltto taste
Cabbage½ head, shredded
Onion1, chopped
Dill leaveschopped

Method

4 steps
  1. 1Make a soft enriched dough and rise until doubled.
  2. 2Fry onion and cabbage in butter until soft and lightly golden. Mix with chopped boiled eggs and dill.
  3. 3Divide dough, fill and pinch into oval buns. Rise 20 minutes.
  4. 4Brush with egg and bake at 190 C until golden.
Serve it like this

Pile on a plate under a towel to keep soft, serve with soup or tea.
