Ingredients

4 servings
Prawns (shrimp)500 g large, peeled, tails on
Lemon juice1 tbsp
Saltto taste
Hung curd (greek yogurt)⅓ cup
Ginger garlic paste1 tbsp
Kashmiri chilli powder2 tsp
Ajwain (carom seeds)½ tsp
Garam masala½ tsp
Turmeric (ground turmeric)¼ tsp
Mustard oil1 tbsp
Butter2 tsp, melted
Chaat masala½ tsp

Method

4 steps
  1. 1Toss prawns with lemon and salt for 10 minutes.
  2. 2Mix hung curd, ginger garlic, chilli, ajwain, garam masala, turmeric and mustard oil; coat the prawns and rest 15 minutes.
  3. 3Skewer and grill at 240 C for 5 to 6 minutes, basting with butter.
  4. 4Dust with chaat masala and serve.
Serve it like this

Lay prawns on a platter over onion rings with lemon wedges and mint chutney. Serve hot off the grill.
