Ingredients

Almonds1¾ cups, blanched and peeled
Sugar¾ cup
Water⅓ cup
Rose water1 tsp
Cardamom¼ tsp
Saffrona few strands

Method

4 steps
  1. 1Dry the blanched almonds and grind to a fine powder in short pulses.
  2. 2Make a one string syrup with sugar and water, add almond powder and cook on low heat until it forms a dough.
  3. 3Cool slightly, add rose water and cardamom and knead smooth.
  4. 4Roll thin and cut lattice or leaf shapes with a cutter. Air dry 2 hours.
Serve it like this
