Ingredients

4 servings
Pasta300 g penne or farfalle
Salmon2 skinless salmon fillets
Green peas1 cup frozen peas
Cream cheese½ cup
Milk⅓ cup
Lemonzest and a squeeze
Dill leavesa few fronds (optional)
Saltto taste

Method

5 steps
  1. 1Poach the salmon in gently simmering water, then lift out and flake, checking for bones.
  2. 2Cook the pasta, adding the peas for the last 2 minutes.
  3. 3Reserve a cup of pasta water and drain.
  4. 4Melt the cream cheese with the milk and lemon zest in the pot, then toss in the pasta, peas and salmon with water as needed.
  5. 5Finish with lemon juice, dill and salt.
Serve it like this

Serve in shallow bowls with a lemon wedge and a few dill fronds on top.
