Ingredients

Rice¾ cup short grain
Sugar¾ cup
Saffrona generous pinch, bloomed
Rose water2 tbsp
Butter1½ tbsp
Cardamom½ tsp
Almonds2 tbsp, slivered
Pistachios1 tbsp
Cinnamonto decorate
Water5 cups

Method

4 steps
  1. 1Simmer the rice in the water until very soft.
  2. 2Add the sugar, saffron, butter and cardamom and simmer until thick.
  3. 3Stir in the rose water and almonds.
  4. 4Pour into bowls, chill and decorate with cinnamon and pistachios.
Serve it like this
